Oxford Dictionary Recognizes: YOLO, Amazeballs and Hot Mess – NYTimes.com

The Oxford Dictionaries will include YOLO – an acronym for “you only live once,” popularized by Drake in his 2011 song, “The Motto” – in the quarterly update of its online dictionary, released this week. And though the list is heavy with science and technology terms – clickbait, listicle and pharmacovigilance (monitoring drugs after they are approved for use) – several entries are arguably arts-related.
