Rowling has added just a bit more to the legend – a footnote – on the web page Pottermore.com, which she introduced in 2011. On Friday, Mrs. Rowling posted the first part of her “History of the Quidditch World Cup,” an expansive description of the game that Harry and his Hogwarts colleagues play, using flying broomsticks, throughout the series.
